SLA Track Team Shines
Coach Randy Willis and a group of SLA students attended their first track meet on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center. Smith Leadership Academy came in 2nd overall in the indoor classic. We had several students take home as many as three medals. Xavier Gray was one of the stars of the classic as he took 2nd place in the 200 meter relay, he placed 8th in the long jump and place in the 55 meter. It was a great day for the coach, his students, their families and the Academy community.
