Admissions
Smith Leadership Academy is a charter public school, governed by the Massachusetts charter school laws. Admission to the Academy takes place through a free, public lottery that is non-discriminatory.
For students and families interested in attending the Academy, we encourage you to attend an open house prior to the lottery and talk with current students and parents about their experience at the school. The Academy's faculty and staff welcome your questions about our expectations for all of our students and our commitment to the development of the whole person.
Open House Schedule: The Academy has planned a series of Open Houses, at the school and in the community, throughout the months of January and February. You also may schedule a school tour with the school's administrative assistant.
Lottery Process: The first lottery for the 2010-11 academic year will take place on March 11, 2010. The Academy has 88 available seats for Grade 6 students.
