Savings Makes Cents Savings Makes "Cents" is a program for elementary school children focusing on the ABCs of money management. The SLA Money Bowl was held at Smith Leadership Academy on Saturday, April 4. This was a fun, informative and worthwhile event for the school community, as we became more financially literate and learned about ways to save for college. The event was co-sponsored with State Treasurer Tim Cahill's Office and Mt. Washington Bank in Dorchester. The event planner was Eleanor Chalmus, administrative assistant for the Academy.
